An international online databank has been elaborated within
the frame of the project "Networks - sisterhoods" and conducted by Prof.
Ulrike Rosenbach. bild-rausch is a platform on internet whose purpose
is to present and network female media artists.
The network project bild-rausch promotes the mutual dialog of female artists,
it serves archiving and communication and is open to curators, art managers,
gallery owners, art agencies etc. as an information marketplace.
bild-rausch collects information about artworks and current
websites of female artists and display them on online archives in the form
of a brief
biography, a small sample of images as well as a web link.
Interested female artists who are working with modern media (for example
photography art, video art, performance art and action art, computer art,
network art, sound art and game art) are invited to apply here
